# Account, privacy, and support

The Account tab provides native security tools and direct links to ProspectHQ privacy, support, and account management.

## Manage sign-in and security

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Account">
    Tap **Account** in the app's tab bar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open security settings">
    Choose **Manage security & backup codes**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review recovery options">
    Manage your password, multi-factor authentication, recovery methods, signed-in devices, and backup codes in Clerk's native account screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Store backup codes privately">
    Keep recovery codes somewhere separate from the iPhone you normally use. Generating a new set replaces the old set.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  ProspectHQ support will never ask for your password, verification code, MFA backup code, complete payment-card number, or private authentication keys.
</Warning>

## Camera and photo access

ProspectHQ requests device access only when you choose a feature that needs it:

* **Camera** records a swing for on-device analysis.
* **Photos** lets you choose a photo, screenshot, or video.
* **Files and Share Sheet** access is limited to the item you deliberately select or share.

You can review or change access in **iPhone Settings → Apps → ProspectHQ Uploader**. Disabling a permission prevents the related picker or camera feature until access is restored.

## Privacy and uploaded media

* Athlete access is checked on the server for every directory load and upload step.
* Uploaded media uses authenticated private storage and organization isolation.
* On-device swing-analysis frames remain inside the app while analysis runs.
* New training videos remain private unless the player's public sharing requirements are enabled.
* The iPhone app does not include subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Read the [ProspectHQ Privacy Policy](https://prospecthq.app/privacy) and [Terms of Use](https://prospecthq.app/terms) for the complete service terms.

## Manage or delete an account

Open **Account → Manage or delete account**. The app opens the authenticated ProspectHQ account page where an eligible user can manage or request deletion of the account and associated data.

Account deletion is different from removing one video, leaving a team, or ending a subscription. Review the scope before confirming a deletion request.

## Contact support

Use the **Contact** link in ProspectHQ, email [brandon@cypresslearning.com](mailto:brandon@cypresslearning.com), or call [(206) 796-3640](tel:+12067963640).

Include:

* The athlete, team, or organization name without unnecessary private details
* The screen and action you were using
* What you expected and what happened
* The approximate date and time
* The exact on-screen reference ID, if one appeared
* Your iPhone model, iOS version, and ProspectHQ app version

In TestFlight 1.0.2 build 9, **Account** also displays the app version/build, operating system and API host for support. These diagnostics do not contain sign-in credentials.

Do not attach private youth information unless support specifically confirms a secure and necessary method.
