# Team page builder and data imports

The team workspace provides shortcuts to **Edit team page**, **View public page**, **Team info**, **Roster**, **Game records** or **Tournaments**, **Resources**, and **Staff**.

## Build the public team page

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Add games manually

Open **Game records** and use the manual game option. Enter the game date, opponent, score, and any available player statistics. Edit the game details separately from player statistics.

For player stats, choose the player and use the **Hitting**, **Pitching**, and **Fielding** tabs. Enter only verified values and save each change.

## Import completed GameChanger games

    Review dates, opponents, scores, possible duplicates, and the GameChanger player identities found in the files.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Map players">
    Use suggested matches as a starting point, then confirm each GameChanger identity maps to the correct ProspectHQ player. The same player may appear across many games in the batch.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Handle duplicates">
    When duplicates are detected, choose the appropriate option—such as importing only new games or intentionally overwriting an existing record—after reviewing the preview.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete the import">
    Import the approved games, then spot-check several player records and the team record.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Import team season statistics

Use **Roster → Import GameChanger roster and season CSV** for the official GameChanger team statistics CSV. The mapping flow can create or connect players and import their season totals.

<Warning>
  A season CSV and completed-game PDFs serve different purposes. The CSV contains aggregate season totals; box-score PDFs provide game-by-game records and trends.
</Warning>

## Manage imports

In **Game-by-game records and import management**, you can:

* Filter records by date
* Expand completed games
* Edit date, opponent, and score
* Edit player statistics separately
* Map retained GameChanger identities to player profiles
* Move an import to another team when permitted
* Remove an incorrect import and its linked statistics
* Review possible duplicate warnings

Removing data can affect player histories. Confirm the exact import and linked records before proceeding.

## Team record

The team record can be derived from imported games and may be adjusted through supported game management tools. Correct game dates, opponents, and scores first so team summaries and public records stay accurate.

## Golf teams

Golf teams use tournaments rather than GameChanger games. BlueGolf tournament and season records are connected from individual golfer profiles when supported, then reflected in the golf team experience.
