# Mobile vs. desktop

ProspectHQ player pages work on any device, but the experience is best on a desktop or large monitor.

<Tip>
  **Best practice:** use a desktop or large monitor to view and manage player pages. More stats, trends, and video panels fit on screen at once, and side-by-side layouts make it easier to compare games and sessions.
</Tip>

## When to use desktop or a large monitor

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Managing a player" icon="gear">
    Editing profile fields, mapping GameChanger players, and reviewing import previews all benefit from a wide screen.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Reviewing stats and trends" icon="chart-line">
    Baseball, softball, and golf stat tables show more columns and more games per view on desktop.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Uploading imports" icon="file-import">
    GameChanger screenshots and box-score PDFs capture more data per file on a larger display.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Watching performance videos" icon="video">
    Multi-angle sessions and highlight clips are easier to review at higher resolutions.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## When mobile is fine

* Quickly viewing a public profile or sharing the link.
* Uploading a single video or photo from a phone.
* Checking a recent game log or a coach summary on the go.

## What changes on smaller screens

* Tab bars and side panels collapse into stacked sections.
* Some stat tables scroll horizontally so every column stays readable.
* Management dialogs (edit profile, edit photo, import review) work best with a physical keyboard.

<Note>
  For coaches and administrators doing bulk work (importing games for a whole team, mapping rosters, or cleaning up duplicates), always switch to a desktop.
</Note>
