# Viewing performance videos

> Watch and manage videos attached to performance sessions and highlights.

# Viewing performance videos

ProspectHQ attaches videos to performance sessions (throwing velocity, exit velocity, bat sensor, athletic testing) and to highlight sessions. Videos appear on the player card, the public profile (when enabled), and inside each session.

## Where videos appear

## Watch a video

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the player">
    From your organization, choose **Players** and open the profile.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open a session or the Highlights section">
    Select a performance session or open **Highlights** to see the attached clips.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Play the clip">
    Use the built-in player controls to play, scrub, and full-screen the video.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Use a desktop or large monitor for detailed review. Multi-angle sessions and slow-motion clips are much easier to evaluate at higher resolutions. See [Mobile vs. desktop](/viewing-player-pages/mobile-vs-desktop).

## Add or replace a video

    In **Manage Player**, open the performance or highlight session that should hold the video.

  <Step title="Add session videos">
    Select **Add session videos** and choose one or more `.mp4`, `.mov`, or `.m4v` files.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for the upload to finish">
    ProspectHQ authorizes the upload and processes the file. Large files may take a few minutes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the clip appears">
    The new video shows in the session and, if the section is public, on the shareable profile.
  </Step>

## Control what appears publicly

Use **public section toggles** (Manage Player → Edit profile information) to choose which video sections show on the public profile. See [Editing profile information](/player-profiles/edit-profile).

## Remove a video

* **Delete** a video from within its session to remove it from ProspectHQ.
* Deleting a video does not affect the source file on your device.

  Deleting a session removes every video attached to it. Delete individual videos if you only want to remove one clip.

## Supported formats

ProspectHQ accepts common mobile and camera formats:

* `.mp4`
* `.mov`
* `.m4v`

For best playback, upload the original file rather than a re-encoded copy from a messaging app.
