Getting started with player profiles

A player profile is the athlete’s long-term development record. It can hold profile information, team history, game or tournament results, season totals, performance measurements, video highlights, and recruiting details.

Before you begin

Have the following available when possible:
  • Athlete name, sport, jersey number, positions, bats/throws or golf details
  • A clear profile image
  • Current team and season information
  • Supported exports, screenshots, PDFs, or performance records
  • The athlete or guardian email if you are sending an invitation
A parent or guardian should manage accounts for youth athletes when required. Do not place a private home address, medical information, account credentials, or other sensitive information in a public profile.

Create a player from an organization

1

Open Players

Sign in, select the organization, and choose Players from the management navigation.
2

Create the profile

Choose Create a player. Enter the player’s name, sport, and the available profile details. Required fields are marked in the form.
3

Add the player to a team

Select an existing team when appropriate. A player can exist in the organization without a team and can be assigned later.
4

Upload a profile photo

Choose a clear image. ProspectHQ can compress large images during upload. Where available, Enhance with AI can create a clean team-themed card photo without adding text overlays.
5

Save and review

Open the player page and verify the profile details before importing records or changing public visibility.

Create an individual athlete profile

Open My athlete profile from the signed-in navigation, choose the sport, complete the profile, and save. Individual profiles are separate from organization workspaces unless the athlete or guardian accepts an organization invitation.

Understand the two player views

Shows the profile experience, recent data, trends, highlights, and other sections the signed-in user is allowed to view.

Decide what to share

Profiles start from a privacy-first position. In Manage Player, use the public-page settings to choose whether the profile is private or public and whether individual sections—such as performance, coaching insight, trends, statistics, or media—appear publicly.
Preview the public page after every visibility change. The management workspace can contain more information than the public page.
