Player modes: Development and Recruit

Every player profile runs in one of two modes. The mode controls what the public profile emphasizes and which fields are surfaced.

Development mode (default)

Development mode focuses on ongoing performance: game stats, trends, coaching insight, performance sessions, and highlights.
  • Public badge: Public development profile (or Private workspace when the profile is private).
  • Best for in-season use, weekly reviews, and long-term progress tracking.
  • Recruiting-specific fields (school, GPA, awards) are hidden from the public view.

Recruit Mode

Recruit Mode turns the public profile into a shareable recruiting page.
  • Public badge: Public recruiting profile.
  • Adds an above-the-fold recruiting identity block (jersey number, positions, graduation year).
  • Surfaces recruiting metadata: graduation year, current school, GPA, and awards and honors.
  • Enables share, print/PDF, follow, and a private contact relay. The player or guardian contact email is never shown publicly.

Turn Recruit Mode on or off

1

Open the player

From your organization, choose Players and open the profile.
2

Edit the player profile

In the Manage Player view, select Edit player profile.
3

Toggle Recruit Mode

In the Recruit Mode section, check or uncheck Enable Recruit Mode on the public profile.
4

Fill in recruiting details (if enabling)

Add graduation year, current school, GPA, awards and honors, and a player or guardian contact email for the private contact relay.
5

Save

Save the profile. The public page updates immediately.
Recruit Mode changes what appears publicly. If the profile is set to Public, updates are visible to anyone with the link as soon as you save.

Which mode should you use?

Choose Development

For in-season tracking, coach reviews, and internal team use.

Choose Recruit

When the athlete is actively being recruited and needs a shareable page with academic and awards data.
