Viewing baseball and softball stats

Baseball and softball player pages combine GameChanger imports, team box-score imports, and manual entries into a single view.

Where stats appear

  • Player card: headline stat highlights.
  • Trends: recent game-by-game performance. Trends favor the most recently imported games.
  • Game log: every imported and manually entered game with hitting, pitching, and fielding rows.
  • Season totals: season-by-season summary of the player’s stats.
  • Data imports (Manage Player): source of every imported line.
If no game-by-game box scores are available yet, the view falls back to imported season totals. If neither is available, a manually maintained team record is used until game-by-game imports begin.

Read the game log

1

Open the player

From your organization, choose Players and open the profile.
2

Open the game log

Scroll to the Games section. Each row shows the date, opponent, team score, and the stat categories that were imported (hitting, pitching, fielding).
3

Expand a game

Select a game to see the full stat line and the source (team box-score PDF, player screenshot, CSV, or manual entry).

Read season totals

Season totals show one row per season or tournament with cumulative hitting, pitching, and fielding stats. Use them when you want a summary rather than a game-by-game view. Trends show recent games in chronological order so you can spot streaks, slumps, and progress. New box-score imports automatically update this view.

Managing stat rows

  • Edit a game to correct opponent, score, or specific stat values.
  • Delete a game or season snapshot to remove it from the profile.
  • To clean up an entire duplicated season, use the team’s Import Management. See Removing duplicate seasons.
To keep game-by-game trends accurate for every player on a team, coaches should export the GameChanger box-score PDF after each game and import it from the team page. See Best practices.
